Rebecca Lovett, owner/director, has a diverse background as parent, counselor, parent educator, preschool teacher, sports and theater coach, child advocate, music and movement teacher. Rebecca has a Bachelors of Science and is currently pursuing additional post-graduate study in Early Childhood Education. Her experience includes health, safety, nutrition, behavior & group management, leadership and program design. She loves her family, children, coffee, chocolate, gardening and outdoor play.
Anji Scalf is a native to Port Townsend and a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Her degree is an interdisciplinary program of Environmental Science, Marine Biology, Maritime History, Nutrition Systems, and French. Anji interned at the Bishop Museum in Honolulu, developing curriculum and youth oriented programs about the natural history of the Hawaiian Islands and Pacific Ocean Basin. She co-founded the UHM Biology club, an organization dedicated to community service, student health, and advancement of science in Hawaii. While she attended UHM she was the Wardrobe Supervisor for Kennedy Theater, working with Pacific and Asian traditional clothing. Anji teaches swimming at the Port Townsend Pool and coaches a competitive swim team. She is pursuing post-graduate work in education.
Rebecca Wickens, a certified Montessori Teacher, has owned and worked in a variety of child-focused settings. Her experience encompasses teaching, particularly art and theater as well as parenting her 3 adorable children, Maya, Paige and Owen. She teaches and cares for children at Neighborhood Schoolhouse while playing guitar, directing preschool improv, and just being creative with the kids. In her valuable and limited spare time she does laundry and Key City Productions. Her naturally vivacious personality is augmented with the help of green spooge and coffee. |
