Daily Schedule
- Quiet activities during Arrival Time (Hot oatmeal/fruit/cereal for those who arrived w/out breakfast)
- Morning Circle (greeting, reconnecting, songs, review day’s activity centers choices, story, surprise box.)
- AM Center Time: 2-3 choices
- Morning Snack
- Outdoors Time (sand, water, wheel toys, life lab/garden, easel)
- Lunch Prep and Pick-up time for K and pre-school half-day students
- Lunch
- Rest Time
- Outdoors or quiet indoor activities (until everyone is awake)
- PM Center Time: 2-3 choices
- Afternoon Snack
- Class Meeting: (Includes review of our day, compliments, ideas to follow-thru on tomorrow)
- Story time/small group activities until departure
Centers may include:
- Math Manipulitives: puzzles, blocks, counters, sorting, classifying, measuring,
- Dramatic Play: playhouse, farm, costumes, capes
- Food Prep/harvesting, washing, chopping, cooking, baking
- Art: 2 and 3 dimensional (too many possibilities to list!)
- Theatre: Puppets, and puppet making, performance
- Music: Singing, dancing, percussive rhythm instruments, performance
- Literacy: Listening, speaking, picture stories, computer, story time, poems
- Sensory Table
